Driven Wild
Hi, my name is Vincent and I'm an independant film producer and screenwriter based in France and Germany but working mostly on US projects. I'm also a slightly above-average movie watcher and was able raise the bar of the record for « Most films seen in a cinema in one year ».
Welcome to the website of « A Wolf in the Sun », a film production company used to helm all the exciting and wide ranging film projects I'm involved in!
If you've stumbled upon this page, it must mean that you're rightfully curious about my endeavors. And let me tell you, this is just the beginning.

Guinness World Record

From March 18th 2017 to March 17th, 2018, I decided to use the priviledge of the many Parisian commercial and arthouse theaters in order to watch as many new and old films as I could. On the one hand, the purpose was to improve my general cinematic knowledge (about half of the films I saw where old films) and get a better vision and understanding of the current cinematic landscape, but on the other hand, it was also to see if I was able to set an ambitious goal and follow through with it, even though I was working fulltime.

IN DEVELOPMENT

It is said that the 9 most famous words in Hollywood are:
"I have several projects in various stages of development”

If that’s really the case, then I should fit right in!

DO YOU ENJOY DYING ?

LOGLINE : In a race against time, an amnesic young woman stuck in a purgatorial loop must battle her vengeful demons to achieve redemption, all the while forced to confront memories of her life and her sinful connection to these demons.

SON OF LILITH

– Narrative feature

LOGLINE: In a period of peace between the Kingdoms of Heaven and of Hell, an Ex-Marine finds himself caught up in an angel-lead hunt for a presumed demon who is trying to get revenge for events that happened at the beginning of time in the Garden of Eden. Discovering his own angelic heritage, he will find out that the lines of good and evil are not as clear as religions and angels try to make everyone believe.

TAGLINE: Even angels have to pay for their sins.

Writer: Vincent Krohn

Genre: Action fantasy

STATUS: Screenplay completed, but shelved for the moment as it would require a considerable budget to be done right. I first need to continue to prove myself as a writer and producer with the other projects which will be done on much smaller budgets. But I will send you the screenplay if you’re curious about it.

And to make money in the meantime, I work at Pathé in Paris, doing international sales administration and reading new screenplays for potential consideration every week.

About Me

The most important thing to know about me is that I love movies and enjoy watching and making them just for the pleasure of it.
Since I don't enjoy talking about myself (some would argue that I'm in the wrong business then), but don't want to hang you out to dry if you want to know more about me (without actually talking to me, which is fine, just fine...), I've decided to share some of my personal rankings with you. The reason being that I believe those things can say a lot about someone.
If you don't agree with them, then that's just fine. Like a professor at the Sorbonne Law School in Paris once said in one of his lectures: « Everyone has a right to be wrong ». Don't worry, I'm just kidding (although he did say it, talking about the French Supreme Court no less). The appreciation of films, like any artform, is purely subjective. My rankings were once different and I bet that they'll have changed in 10 years.
